Andersen Design Team

The Andersen Design Team—working from the company’s historic production facilities in Denmark—serves as the creative and cabinetmaking engine behind Andersen Furniture (founded in 1916). Operating with an artisan mindset, this in-house collective of draftsmen and master woodworkers preserves traditional Scandinavian timber craft. Working alongside external collaborators, the in-house team is responsible for developing the brand's core dining and living collections. Landmark designs include the Classic 255 and Classic 290 solid-wood extendable dining tables—celebrated for smooth pull-out runners and seamless veneer matching—alongside the B2 Bench and functional storage sideboards. Their focus centers on FSC-certified solid oak and walnut, finished with eco-friendly soaps, oils, and matte lacquers.
