British industrial designer, creative director, and entrepreneur Sebastian Wrong (b. 1971) is celebrated for an inventive practice that bridges technical manufacturing logic with eclectic graphic wit. Studying sculpture at Norwich School of Art before mastering metalwork, Wrong gained international renown as a co-founder and design director of acclaimed British brand Established & Sons. Wrong achieved lighting immortality in 2003 with the iconic Spun Light for Italian master Flos, an award-winning luminaire crafted from fluid, spun aluminum that flows seamlessly from shade to base. For Established & Sons, he authored celebrated designs including the Wrongwoods cabinet series (in collaboration with Richard Woods) and the Font clock. In 2017, he also spearheaded the Wrong for HAY collaborative lighting and homeware collection.
