Pearson Lloyd
London-based design studio Pearson Lloyd—founded in 1997 by Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd—is recognized as an influential force reshaping modern workplace, healthcare, and urban furniture. Meeting at the Royal College of Art, the duo pairs sociological research with ergonomic engineering to make complex environments human-centric and intuitive. The studio is renowned for pioneering flexible collaborative furniture. For Austrian manufacturer Bene, they created the landmark PARCS and Settlements systems, redefining modern office landscapes. For Walter Knoll, they designed the refined Healey lounge chair and Kite club seating, while developing the Cross Chair and circular tables for Takt. Their transport designs include business-class cabins for Lufthansa.
