Description

The Ryff Wall Lamp by LYFA is a poetic, sculptural Scandinavian masterpiece designed by the acclaimed Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi that strikes a flawless balance between 1930s jazz-age nostalgia and modern minimalist refinement. Originally conceived alongside the Noote lamp to illuminate the atmospheric interior of the Epicurus Jazz Club in Copenhagen, this characterful fixture derives its distinct identity from the musical term "riff," translating the repetition, rhythm, and flow of sound waves into a striking physical form. It is crafted with a heavy architectural base supporting a grand, gently curved shade made from intricately patterned opal glass. This textured surface acts as a visual medium for light and shadow, diffusing a soft, glare-free indirect glow that mimics the organic movement of musical notes suspended in the air. Designed with dual-directional openings, the lamp houses two energy-efficient G9 bulb sockets to project an equal wash of light simultaneously upward and downward, adding profound graphic depth to any vertical surface. Measuring 12.15 cm wide, 10.5 cm deep, and 40.5 cm high with a sturdy 1.6 kg weight, the architectural design is available in premium matte bronze or timeless brass finishes and comes equipped with a 3-meter black cord.
