Stéphane Elineau
French industrial designer, manufacturer, and master craftsman Stéphane Elineau is celebrated for his self-described philosophy as a "metal cabinetmaker" (ébéniste du métal). Operating from the Vendée region, Elineau brings decades of factory craftsmanship to his role as head designer and director of French metal furniture atelier Résistub Productions. Elineau achieved acclaim by combining raw industrial metalworking with soft domestic warmth. Defining creations include the Watson club chair, the Joséphine lounge sofa, and the slender Léon console. His work pairs recycled, fine-textured powder-coated steel tubing with solid oak accents, natural cane, and rich bouclé upholstery. By giving steel fluid curves and delicate visual weight, his designs transition effortlessly between indoor and outdoor living.
