Matilda Lindblom
Swedish interior architect and furniture designer Matilda Lindblom is celebrated for an elemental, linear design language that balances spatial reduction with tactile warmth. Graduating with a Master's in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Konstfack in Stockholm, Lindblom operated as an interior architect before founding her design practice. Lindblom has authored acclaimed collections for Sweden's premier furniture makers. For Karl Andersson & Söner, she created the minimalist Cavetto wall shelving and magazine display system, alongside the functional Prio storage family. Her work for Skagerak (now part of Fritz Hansen) includes the architectural Spira outdoor seating series, featuring slender powder-coated steel frames paired with certified teak slats. Her designs focus on proportion, honest material junctions, and intuitive utility.
