Stockholm-based design partnership Broberg & Ridderstråle—founded in 2005 by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle—is celebrated for balancing architectural structure with emotional subtlety. Meeting while studying interior architecture and industrial design at Konstfack, the duo creates furniture, lighting, and objects that question everyday conventions. The studio has authored acclaimed icons for Scandinavia's leading manufacturers. For Asplund, they created the celebrated Tati collection, featuring graphic side tables and desks with lacquered metal frames and marble or oak tops. For Swedish lighting brand Pholc, they designed the architectural Apollo and Gåva luminaires, alongside the popular Leaf lamp for Muuto and outdoor seating for Röshults.
