Danish manufacturer and design collective Bent Hansen Studio is renowned for bringing generations of leather and textile mastery to modern Scandinavian furniture. Founded in 1948 in Randers, Denmark, the family-run enterprise evolved from an upholstery workshop into a design laboratory guided by playfulness and ergonomic rigor. Led by creative director Henrik Hvid Hansen, the in-house team authors modern icons alongside precision accessories. Landmark releases include the Prismatic chair, the geometric Button cushions, and the flexible Up pouf series. Known as custodians of master upholstering, they also engineer custom cushions and tailored slipcovers for mid-century classics by Arne Jacobsen and Hans J. Wegner.
