Studio Lambert & Fils
Studio Lambert & Fils—the collaborative in-house design and research laboratory of Montreal lighting house Lambert & Fils, founded in 2010 by Samuel Lambert—is internationally celebrated for bringing architectural poetry, constructivist geometry, and studio craft to contemporary lighting. The studio operates an atelier model where designers, engineers, and artisans prototype under one roof. The studio is renowned for sculptural lighting families exploring geometric balance, tension, and honest materiality. Landmark collections include the graphic Beaubien series—combining matte black steel rods with milk-glass orbs—alongside the Laurent, Dot, and Parc collections. In collaboration with international talents like Kwangho Lee, their work investigates extruded aluminum, mouth-blown glass, and brass that transform architectural spaces.
