Moisés Hernández
Mexican industrial designer Moisés Hernández (b. 1983) is celebrated for bringing poetic simplicity, vibrant color theory, and cultural storytelling into contemporary product design. Graduating with a master’s from the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ÉCAL) in Switzerland, Hernández founded his studio in Mexico City in 2014. Hernández achieved global design acclaim through partnerships with Danish design house HAY. His signature creation is the Lupita and Arc collection, alongside the celebrated Chroma and dipped glass tableware series. His work explores chromatic gradients, mouth-blown borosilicate glass, and folded sheet metal, combining Mexican artisanal heritage with European minimalism.
