{"title":"Michael Anastassiades","description":"Cypriot-born, London-based designer Michael Anastassiades operates at the intersection of industrial precision and sculpture. Trained in civil engineering at Imperial College before studying industrial design at the Royal College of Art, he conceives lighting and furniture characterized by deceptive simplicity and poise.\n\nHe is celebrated for transforming illumination into meditative art. His iconic partnership with Italian lighting pioneer Flos produced global benchmarks such as the IC Lights series—where mouth-blown opaline spheres rest on slender brass rods—alongside the linear geometry of String Lights and Arrangements. His work pairs reflective metals with glowing glass, exploring tension, gravity, and dialogue between an object and its spatial volume.\n\nAnastassiades strips away excess to reveal luminous equilibrium, crafting timeless pieces that command quiet attention.","products":[{"product_id":"arrangements-pendant-lamp-2-elements-line-round-s","title":"Arrangements Pendant Lamp - 2 Elements","description":"Designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2018, the Arrangements lighting fixture is a blend of art and functionality.
