Luca Nichetto
Venice-born designer Luca Nichetto is renowned for seamlessly bridging the warm, artisanal expressiveness of Italian design with the clean functionalism of Scandinavian craft. Raised on Murano and educated at the Università Iuav di Venezia, Nichetto launched his multidisciplinary studio in Venice in 2006, expanding to Stockholm in 2011 to cultivate a distinct dual-cultural design philosophy.

His prolific international portfolio spans leading manufacturers, including &Tradition, Cassina, Foscarini, Wittmann, and De Padova. For &Tradition, he designed the tactile Cloud sofa series, balancing generous upholstery with slender steel legs, alongside the playful Lato marble-and-steel side table. For Foscarini, his early blown-glass luminaires like O-Space and Plass demonstrated his deep-rooted mastery of Venetian glass craftsmanship reframed through modern industrial optics.
The Cloud 3-Seater LN3.2 Sofa by &Tradition is a comfortable and stylish piece that combines Danish and Italian design elements. Designer Luca Nichetto aimed at creating a luminaire that would look like floating on the wall. Consisting of three interconnected parts, the Tabata lamp directs light in two different directions. It can be mounted on the wall at any angle you want, allowing you to decide where the light is aimed at.
