{"title":"John Tree","description":"London-based product and furniture designer John Tree is celebrated for an approach grounded in manufacturing intelligence, functional clarity, and honest material use. Trained at Kingston University, Tree spent years working at Sony Design and collaborated closely with Jasper Morrison for well over a decade before establishing his own studio, cultivating a deep understanding of mass production, technical restraint, and timeless simplicity. \n\nTree’s work bridges industrial discipline with characterful utility across lighting and furniture. For Danish brand HAY, he conceived the popular Apex lamp collection—drawing on archetypal Banker’s light silhouettes with sharply folded steel shades—alongside the sleek Cupola luminaire and the versatile Annex table series. For Muuto, his solid-wood Earnest Extendable Table showcases his talent for understated mechanical engineering.","products":[{"product_id":"apex-table-lamp-iron-black","title":"Apex Table Lamp","description":"The Apex Table Lamp by HAY is a striking fusion of modern design and functional elegance, perfect for enhancing any interior space.
