{"title":"Christine Schwarzer","description":"Copenhagen-born designer Christine Schwarzer is known for her spirited, graphic sensibility that brings joy and approachable elegance to contemporary Scandinavian furniture. Educated at Danmarks Designskole and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Schwarzer approaches industrial design through the lens of modern art, clean lines, and tactile playfulness. \n\nHer career is defined by an enduring partnership with Swedish heritage brand Swedese. In 2004, she designed the iconic Flower Table, a signature silhouette featuring an organic, petal-shaped top finished with molded veneer edges and slender steel legs. Designed in multiple heights and dimensions to nest together or stand alone, it became an instant modern classic. Schwarzer also co-founded the award-winning brand RoomMate, extending her playful philosophy into imaginative children's furniture.","products":[{"product_id":"flower-table-84x90-cm-white-45cm-walnut-edge-white-base","title":"Flower Table - 84x90 cm - H45 cm","description":"The Flower Table from Swedese bypasses strict geometric squares and circles in favor of a soft, asymmetrical shape. Designed by Christine Schwarzer, the top features a fluid, organic outline that naturally breaks up the rigid, linear layouts typical of most living rooms. Depending on the exact model, the surface—whether finished in natural wood veneer or a hard-wearing laminate—is bordered by a distinct edge made from exposed bentwood or tightly wrapped leather. This provides a tactile border that grounds the shape while keeping small items like pens or remotes from rolling off the side.\n\nRather than resting on a bulky pedestal, the top is supported by a minimal frame of tubular steel. This slender metal base keeps the overall profile incredibly light, ensuring the table doesn't block sightlines or dominate the floor plan. Despite the thin legs, the rigid steel construction provides a highly stable foundation that easily holds heavy art books or a tray of drinks without wobbling.\n\nSwedese produces the Flower Table in three distinct surface sizes and three different heights. This allows a single, compact table to function as a straightforward side piece next to an armchair. Crucially, the irregular shapes and varying heights mean you can easily group multiple tables together, nesting them slightly underneath one another to create a sprawling, multi-tiered coffee table. It is a highly adaptable, hardworking fixture that introduces natural, fluid geometry to a room while prioritizing everyday utility.","brand":"Swedese","offers":[{"title":"Default","offer_id":49802638786881,"sku":null,"price":10068.47,"currency_code":"DKK","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0832\/4150\/0993\/files\/84a41ee6-99f8-49d2-bd5b-c63024f446bb.webp?v=1793140382"},{"product_id":"flower-mono-table-62x66-cm-h39-oak-lacquered-nutmeg-ral1019","title":"Flower Mono Table 62x66 Cm height 39 Cm","description":"The organic shape and the stem-like legs give Flower mono its characteristic and stylish expression.
