{"title":"Vittoriano Viganò","description":"Italian architect and visionary Vittoriano Viganò (1919–1996) was a central figure of post-war Italian modernism, renowned for uniting rationalist functionalism with expressive Brutalist geometries. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, Viganò worked closely with architectural pioneer Gio Ponti before establishing his own studio, focusing on dynamic spatial compositions that celebrated raw concrete, exposed steel, and kinetic movement.\n\nViganò achieved enduring acclaim through his radical lighting designs created for Arteluce, the historic manufacturer founded by Gino Sarfatti. His defining masterpiece is the VV Cinquanta collection (1951)—now reissued by Astep—celebrated for its counterweighted brass arms, dual-stem floor lamps, and rotating spun-aluminum reflectors that project focused architectural light. He also served as art director for Arteluce, curating progressive industrial luminaires alongside major civil architectural projects throughout Milan.","products":[{"product_id":"vv-cinquanta-pendant-black-white","title":"VV Cinquanta Pendant Lamp","description":"The VV Cinquanta Pendant is part of a lighting collection designed by the Italian architect Vittoriano Viganò.
