{"title":"Mogens Lassen","description":"Danish architect and designer Mogens Lassen (1901–1987) was a defining pioneer of Nordic functionalism. Deeply influenced by Le Corbusier, the Bauhaus, and his lifelong friend Arne Jacobsen, Lassen championed clean planar surfaces, open light, and strict mathematical proportion across both architecture and furniture.\n\nDespite struggling with dyslexia, Lassen developed an extraordinary spatial intuition. In 1962, inspired by contemporary art and functional clarity, he conceived the iconic Kubus candleholder—a cubic steel frame holding four candles in strict mathematical harmony, originally reserved solely for his family and close colleagues. His groundbreaking furniture includes the sculpted The Tired Man overstuffed armchair (1935) and the folding ML43 Stool. His visionary output is preserved and produced by Audo Copenhagen (by Lassen).","products":[{"product_id":"ml42-bar-stool","title":"ML42 Bar Stool","description":"Elevate your bar or kitchen space with the ML-42 Bar Stool by Audo Copenhagen. The simple silhouette makes the Kubus candle holder a timeless design that still holds up one hundred percent today. The design of the candle holder has an unmistakable geometric feel, where the square is the basic shape of the beautiful construction, which consists of only straight lines and right angles. The square basic design is beautifully complemented by cylindrical candle holders in the same attractive surface finish as the rest of the frame. The Kubus candlestick thus becomes the ideal addition to any room where an atmospheric atmosphere with a ceremonial flair is desired.","brand":"Audo Copenhagen","offers":[{"title":"Default","offer_id":49801979461953,"sku":null,"price":790.56,"currency_code":"DKK","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0832\/4150\/0993\/files\/4ca22d99-bbb6-41cb-816a-7467d3d2af6f.webp?v=1793162587"},{"product_id":"kubus-1-candleholder-white","title":"Kubus 1 Candleholder","description":"Infused with a sharp sense of contemporary style, Mogens Lassen s iconic Kubus 1 Candleholder makes a striking addition to any dining space.\n\nOriginally designed for a restaurant in North Zealand, Denmark, the Kubus 1 gathers people around the table with its square shape.
