This painting is the summation of strokes riddled with obsessive detail, joy, spontaneity, frustration and a struggle with time. It is a depiction of the ever present sight that is unseen yet lovingly connects all things. On a personal level it is a reflection of the continuous invitation to stop looking outward for answers and instead simply look in the mirror or inward through shut eyes.”
